Rear cross traffic warning

Backing out of a parking space can often be a challenge – especially when the driver's view on the traffic passing behind his own vehicle is obstructed. The rear cross traffic warning increases comfort and safety for the driver when backing out of parking spaces by actively warning of potential hazards of crossing vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians. In critical situation the system can trigger an emergency braking to avoid or mitigate a collision.
